Before anything, I would like to clarify that there /is/ a working connection to the internet. I can connect online to post this very question, but my PC won't recognize the connection. Nov 29, 2008 · So then I connected the problem computer directly to the modem, and amazingly had an internet connection back! Wanting to get the router back in play for wireless access, I reinstalled the router (as the internet connection was back) and it is now working and my problem computer internet connection is still in place.
